CAN WE HELP YOU?
Greening Beeston's campaign "Hold On To Your Heat" aims to to help people reduce heat loss from their homes, in order to cut energy consumption, One example is to insulate your outside walls. However, we don't tell you anything about how to actually go about it or what it involves.
Here we provide more details about how to make the various changes, with examples of particular homes in Beeston that have already had improvements made, so that you can find out more from the individual home owners' experiences. Each home is different but we hope that the information here will be helpful. Please let us know by clicking here if you have any questions.

CAN YOU HELP US?If you have had energy-saving improvements made to your house, we would like to hear from you. Can you tell us about your experience, or have you got some photos? Or, could we come and take some photos?
We want to identify homes in Beeston where people have taken steps to improve energy efficiency, so that anyone who wants to make changes can find out more, initially via this website. We have already identified 2 suitable houses, one c. 1900 and one c. 1930, where changes have reduced energy use substantially. Now, we want to hear from you, if you think your home could help inform and inspire others to make similar improvements. If you would like to have your house included or have any questions, please contact us. We hope to add more information here very soon. WATCH THIS SPACE. |
